Parent Training / Coaching
Parent training is a service designed to provide parents and caregivers with the necessary skills and tools to support their child’s communication and language development. The aim of this training is to empower parents to become active participants in their child’s therapy and help them generalize the skills learned in therapy to their everyday life.
The training includes education about typical communication and language development milestones, demonstrations of effective communication techniques, personalized feedback and guidance, and home practice activities.
The training can be conducted in-person or through teletherapy, depending on the family’s needs. The frequency and duration of the training sessions are determined based on the child’s unique needs. Overall, speech therapy parent training is a highly effective approach to improve communication outcomes for children with communication and language disorders, empowering parents to support their child’s language development journey.
